Vang Vieng is a small city about 140 km from Vientiane. A city well known for its nature and party potential. The nature around the city is stunning and it is easy to get to Vang Vieng from Vientiane (about 3 tot 4 hours by minivan or bus). The Nam Song river gives Vang Vieng an extra dimension and the place is a great base for exploring the area.
